De wereldpremière van SPECTRE, de 24ste James Bond film, is officieel vastgesteld op maandag 26 oktober in Londen. Dit werd aangekondigd door Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios enSony Pictures Entertainment. Hieronder het gehele persbericht.

AND UK RELEASE DATE FOR “SPECTRE”: MONDAY, 26 OCTOBER
LONDON, July 17, 2015 – Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment are delighted to announce that the World Premiere for SPECTRE will take place in London on Monday, October 26, 2015.
For the first time ever, the film will open on the same night at cinemas across the UK and Ireland, giving audiences the opportunity to be the first in the world to see the hugely-anticipated 24th film in the James Bond franchise.
Following the World Premiere and release in the UK and Ireland, SPECTRE will begin its rollout in territories around the world. The film will release in the US on November 6, 2015.

In de nieuwe film ontvangt James Bond een cryptische boodschap uit zijn verleden. Deze stuurt hem op het spoor van een sinistere organisatie. Terwijl M. een strijd levert tegen politieke krachten, om de geheime dienst in leven te houden, weet Bond de lagen van bedrog weg te pellen om de afgrijselijke waarheid achter SPECTRE te onthullen.
Het is de 24e uit de officiële filmreeks van EON Productions en wordt geregisseerd door Sam Mendes. De film heeft hoofdrollen voor Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Rory Kinnear, Monica Bellucci, Andrew Scott, Jesper Christensen en Christoph Waltz. SPECTRE wordt geschreven door John Logan en Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
