Nieuwe Alice Through the Looking Glass teaser

Disney heeft onlangs een nieuwe Alice Through the Looking Glass teaser uitgebracht. Hierin horen we de stem van acteur Alan Rickman, die de rol van de Blue Caterpillar vertolkt. Rickman overleed in januari. De teaser is hieronder te bekijken.

“You’ve been gone too long, Alice, There are matters that cannot be neglected. Hurry.” Aldus het personage van Rickman in de teaser.

Er is nog weinig over het verhaal bekend, maar producer Suzanne Todd had het volgende te zeggen:

“She faces that moment that a lot of young adults do in their 20s, which is that the way you spend your time is really important of what you’re going to accomplish in your life, She has to face this decision of what she’s going to do with the rest of her life.”

“What I’m hoping our movie did was root into this moment of female empowerment,” Hopefully now  we’ve made that an even richer experience for people who love Alice.”

De film wordt geregisseerd door James Bobin. Het script komt van Linda Woolverton. Hoofdrollen zijn er voor Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Rhys Ifans, Matt Lucas, Sacha Baron Cohen, Stephen Fry, Toby Jones, Alan Rickman, Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Paul Whitehouse en Barbara Windsor. Alice Through the Looking Glass draait vanaf juni 2016 in de Nederlandse bioscopen.
