M. Night Shyamalan maakt Split en Unbreakable cross-over

Regisseur M. Night Shyamalan heeft onlangs het script afgerond voor een cross-over tussen zijn films Split en Unbreakable. Dit project zal dan tevens dienen als het vervolg op beide films. Shyamalan deelde het volgende mee via Twitter:

”Okay. Here we go. Finished the new script. It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get, “Are you making a f#&@ing sequel to Unbreakable or what?” My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film. And the film is called GLASS… I’m reteaming with my partners @jason_blum and @Universalpics for this crazy comic book thriller. Universal Pictures will release #Glass on January 18, 2019 all over the world. How’s that for not keeping a secret!”

Daarnaast maakte hij bekend dat acteurs Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson (Unbreakable) en James McAvoy (Split) zullen terugkeren. Ook de jonge Anya Taylor-Joy zal meedoen aan Glass, dat op 18 januari 2019 naar de bioscopen zal komen.
